Starting from Deepdale Woods car park, this peaceful circular walk follows the path beside the River Tees before heading into the quiet woodland of Pecknell Woods. The route then passes through the beautiful grounds around Lartington Hall, through the village of Lartington itself, before returning down through Deepdale Woods back to the start. A really lovely mix of riverside walking, woodland scenery and quieter corners of Teesdale, all just outside Barnard Castle.
