An easy circular hike from Cowden Village High Street (free parking), covering about 5.4 km in roughly 72 minutes. The route starts and ends at the same point, gently undulating through the countryside with around 80 m of ascent and 99 m of descent. With no major climbs, it’s suitable for most walkers and offers relaxed views of rural Kent, making it a pleasant short hike. Going clockwise places the wooded section in the first half and the grassy fields later - choose direction according to your preference/weather. Nearest pub is The Fountain Inn in the village. Benches in the pretty church yard.
