Around the 2 km (1.2 miles) mark, you'll come across the remnants of old stone walls and foundations, hinting at the area's historical significance. These ruins are believed to be part of ancient farmsteads that date back several centuries. As you near the end of the loop, you'll pass through a meadow that bursts into color during the summer months with wildflowers.
