Loop
A moderately challenging hiking loop. Starting directly from the ferry terminal, you start easy with a simple track path up the tourist route towards the summit of Goatfell. With the exception of some light scrambling, this is entirely on track/path. You then begin the walk along the ridge line towards the northern Goatfell peak. This short ridge has some mild exposure but it's predominantly a path. Pay attention to the path direction as it traverses below to the left of the rocky summit. You'll then follow the path down to the Saddle. This is a fantastic ridge line and lots of fun with some fantastic views. Be weary of your route, there are a few points you really wouldn't want to fall off. The final climb up Cir Mhor can appear very intimidating as from the bottom it looks a bit scary but it's really not that bad. It's a steep path with elements of scrambling but if you take your time, you'll be up in no time and the view is fantastic.
Finally, wend your way down the shallower side along the path, drop into the valley and enjoy a long easy track path all the way back to Brodick, with access to some swimming if so inclined.
